Financial education programs are an investment in community outreach and business development – and they support your credit union's commitment to ensuring your member's financial success. Providing classes for the community brings members – and potential members – into the credit union. Offering on-site workshops to SEGs opens the door to contact with employees. Both result in increased membership and opportunities to promote your products and services.
Choose Your Workshop
BALANCE offers a menu of workshops – the topics range from basics such as developing a realistic spending plan and understanding credit reports, to more advanced concepts like preparing for retirement and buying a first home.
By implementing simple techniques, more of your members will take advantage of your upcoming personal finance workshops – providing you the perfect opportunity to cross-sell products and promote your credit union.
A BALANCE presenter will come on-site to provide financial education workshops on the available topic of your choice. These 60- to 90-minute workshops can be presented in the evening to the membership at large or at lunch-and-learn sessions at SEGs.
We've compiled some commonly used tools to assist you in your workshop marketing efforts, including workshop announcements, flyers, and presenter profiles.
Financial Fitness Training is a two-day on-site train-the-trainer program developed to provide your credit union with the tools necessary to provide money management and credit-related education programs.
