Members completing these programs will demonstrate their commitment to financial success and will be better prepared to manage the products and services available through the credit union. Because each module includes a quiz to measure understanding of the content, and we share your members’ results with you, the modules can be used as a requirement for special loan or savings programs.

Partnering credit unions may choose to implement any combination of the modules, or the entire program. In addition to the online education, we can provide printer-friendly PDF versions of each module (see below) for members without Internet access.

How To Set Up BalanceTrack

BalanceTrack is free to BALANCE credit union partners. To establish your BalanceTrack program, contact your partner relations manager or email partnerrelations@balancepro.org. Let us know the modules you want to use, to which email address you want the quiz results sent and provide us a logo so we can co-brand the program transition page.

We can provide a co-branded transition page to introduce your members to BalanceTrack. Please provide us with your logo in a suitable format (for more information on logos, please visit our logo requirements page). We’ll get the page set up – all you need to do is link it to your site. Your partner relations manager can provide suggestions for where to place the link, initiatives this program can support, and ways to get the word out to your staff and membership.

In addition to BalanceTrack, you also have access to free, unbiased money management information and financial counseling. All you have to do is make a toll-free phone call to our partner, BALANCE, at 888-456-2227. A certified financial counselor can answer many of your questions immediately – from how long an item stays on your credit report to whether it's better to lease or buy a car. For more complex issues, such as debt elimination or budget development, an appointment will be scheduled – giving you the personal attention you need to meet your objectives. If bills have gotten out of hand, your counselor may be able to arrange a Debt Management Plan in which your creditors may reduce interest and fees so you can pay your debt quickly and efficiently.
